Are you ready to discover our beautiful territory?
Welcome to Val di Fiemme!
This little “guide” aims to give an initial look at the many possibilities that Val di Fiemme offers, placing itself as a starting point for an ideal journey of continuous discovery.
There will certainly be no shortage of things to do during your stay: here are our suggestions for spending a beautiful holiday in our mountains in every season.

Cross-country skiing
-
Lago di Tesero Cross Country Skiing Centre: the scene of numerous top-level skiing competitions (two editions of the World Championships in 1991 and 2013, Marcialonga, Tour de Ski, etc.) which will host the Olympic and Paralympic competitions of the next “Milan Cortina 2026” Olympics. Experience the sensation of tackling the track on which generations of champions have competed, or throw yourself into wild cheering. The Zirmo apartment and its garden are adjacent to the slopes;
-
Passo Lavazè Cross-Country Ski Centre (15 minutes): offers panoramic slopes with routes for all levels and along the trails it is possible to taste local products in the numerous huts that you come across.
Alpine skiing
Alpe Cermis (5 minutes): excellent sunny slopes suitable for all levels including the famous Olimpia slope that descends the mountain to the valley floor for a length of 7.5 km. For lunch we recommend Rifugio Paion (self service) or Rifugio Lo Chalet (restaurant);
Ski Center Latemar: accessible from Pampeago (10 minutes) and Predazzo (15 minutes): it is the largest ski area in the Valley with over 50 km of slopes and boasts a fun sledding slope lit up at night. For lunch we recommend the Rifugio In Treska (excellent meat in a designer setting), Ganischger Alm (a great classic), Oberholz Hutte (restaurant in a designer building);
Ski Area Alpe Lusia/Bellamonte (25 minutes): 30 km of slopes also connected to the Moena area. For lunch we recommend Chalet 44, Baita La Morea, Baita Malga Pozza.
In winter, all the ski areas also offer family activities and various snow trails, while in summer they are starting points for beautiful walks and outdoor activities that can also be tackled by bike.

Rafting
Avisio Rafting Val di Fiemme: the meeting point is right at Lago di Tesero, a few minutes walk from our apartments.
Walks, free time
-
The cycle/pedestrian path that crosses the valley and where the Marcialonga running takes place is literally a stone's throw from the apartments. It is practically flat and very pleasant also for walking with the family or with your four-legged friend;
-
For itineraries on the paths and to discover the mountains, we recommend that you take a look at the maps provided by the local tourist board or available on the internet;

The town of Tesero (5 minutes by car or reachable on foot) has a beautiful historic center, famous for its Corti (courtyards) and wood craftsmen. In August you cannot miss “Le Corti de Tiezer” where you can discover lost crafts and ancient techniques of workmanship accompanied by gastronomic itineraries in the name of tradition. In winter you cannot miss a visit to the famous nativity scenes. In the town there is also a Cinema;
-
In the village of Cavalese (10 minutes), the center of the Valley, you can find tennis and padel courts, a swimming pool and a hospital. We recommend a walk in the Parco della Pieve and a visit to the Palazzo della Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme;
-
Trip to the Cavalese waterfall, where you can admire the waterfall and walk along the cycle path and along the paths in the woods;
-
Trip and walk to Daiano near the Ganzaie locality (20 minutes) with a stop at the Maso dello Speck and a recommended visit, with mandatory reservation – Cinzia 320/2513562, to Maso Vinal – Herbs of the Alps, where you can discover the art and alchemy of producing herbal teas and local herbal products;
-
Trip to Lavazè/Passo Oclini (about 30 minutes) to see the magnificent mountains, home of King Laurin. In the area you can eat, checking the opening times, at Malga Ora, Malga Costa, Ristorante Wastl's, Malga Gurdin, Isi Hutte, Neue Hutte;
-
For those who want to go higher and enjoy magnificent views of the Pale di San Martino, a trip to Passo Rolle (30 km) is recommended, with walks to Capanna Cervino and Malga Segantini, or alternatively to Val Venegia. On the road to Passo Rolle, in Paneveggio, you will find the Natural Park with its biodiversity and fauna where you can admire deer up close and discover the famous resonance fir trees used for centuries in the construction of violins of absolute value, sound boxes and other musical instruments.
